TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
A healthy heart is crucial to maintaining overall well-being. Tennessee has one of the highest rates of cardiovascular disease; the northeastern area having the highest incidence in the state. Heart disease does not discriminate, making it all the more important that The Quillen 100 interacts with as many people as possible. Those of all walks of life are invited to participate in the cycling race, as the main goal of The Quillen 100 is to encourage healthy practices in our rural area.
We are donating the proceeds of our races to Speedway Children's Charities in order to continue making our children's health a priority in our region. We understand that some people may not want to race but would be interested in making a monetary donation (see Donations tab). All funds will be donated after the culmination of The Quillen 100 race. Any amount helps support healthy living in our corner of Appalachia!
